Over 350 support tickets were raised after the Minimal Viable Product Launch (MVP) launched. These tickets consisted of current service defects and functionlaity improvements to big ideas enhancements. The tickets were evidence of product direction of play and used to understand user needs and drive product strategy.
This shows an approach I used in helping to undertand the big strategic themes by convert Zendesk support tickets into logical groupings and building a picture.
Collected and consolidated all the feedback from several sources to help drive product direction.
A discovery was undertaken across the department to identify these sources and extract all the information / data possible to use the approach presecribed.
This was a interactive excercise to map feedback from different sources to develop the strategic themes, which then could be evidenced and verified further in the process of establishing product strategic themes.

I reccomended Data Hub prioritised roadmap based on strategic themes and user feedback.
I made and implemented several changes to the delivery process which was driven by my experience of delivering digital projects across Government that would allow the team to deliver more value in their work within less time. I set out to deliver a sense of direction and clear way forward to ensure:
- a smoother delivery of the designed / scheduled sprints in the roadmap
- improved the clarity and transparency of user story states as they move from wish list item, to user story creation, through stages of refinement, design and estimation, to backlog and development
- enhanced team coherency on exactly when who needs to do what when
- raised governance and best practices
- better team productivity and reach optimal level of performance through constant flow of planned user stories
- a boost in quality of evidence-user based features
- increased proactivity not reactivity - stage transparency and features planned on roadmap allow stakeholders and users expectations to be managed easier
